Here is another frosted potato. 

The potatoes on the other hand got hit. I should have listened to my mother when she told me to cover them. According to some research I did, they should recover but who knows.  

The strawberries survived the cold snap and are starting to form. 

The Hostas that I planted last year are finally starting to grow. I was afraid that they might not come up. 

This is the next stage in the growth of a strawberry. The petal begin to fall off the strawberry starts to form. 

My potatoes are coming up nicely. These are the Red Potatoes. 

This was the biggest mushroom I have ever seen!!! (We didn't find this on though.) 

This is a mushroom that I found this weekend. In the area we went to, mushrooms were everywhere. I had never seen so many! 

The lettuce is growing too! 

This is where I threw out an rotten pumpkin last year. I think the seeds got worked into the soil when the garden was tilled this spring. If anyone would like pumpkins starts, I would be glad to share. 

The snow peas and onions are off to a good start.  

This is a good sign that strawberries are on the way! 

The rain sure made my garden grow!! This is a potato growing. I'm so excited that they finally came up.

Last week we got about 2 inches of rain. I took this picture while it was raining because I couldn't work in the garden. 

Here is the fallen tree from a different view. When it fell every dog in the neighborhood started barking. 

Here is new section in my garden. Dad cut down a tree on the West side and this is where it landed. I'm just glad I hadn't planted anything in this spot. 

I've been working on weeding the strawberries. I can't wait until they start to grow! 

We planted a mixture of lettuce. 

J.C. put in a plastic fence around my front porch for my flower bed. 

Here are the potatoes J.C. and I planted on March 19th. We planted Kennebec, Red Pontiac, and Yukon Gold. I know they are planted to close, but we plan to thin them out after they start growing. 

Here are the starts of my snow peas. Granny used to grow them so I thought I would give them a try this year. 

My onions have started to come up. I planted yellow and sweet onions. 

Here is one of my Daffodils that I planted last fall. I was so happy they came up.
