The building now has all the tin on the sides and top. All we need now is a door.

New Building

I did my duty and took picture of the installation of our new building. It's just taken me a little while to post them. Dad had put everything together at home so it went up pretty quick with the help of Joe and J.C.. Once the tin is put on we can start to fill it up.

Cantaloupe

This year we tried to grow cantaloupe and had an excellent crop. I think just about everyone in town got one.

This year J.C. and I canned some green beans. I can't wait to see how they taste this winter.

Our next target. He looks very well fed. No wonder we have so many creatures around here.

Captured

Well, Squirrelly #1 has been captured!!! We caught him a couple of weeks ago and took him to his new home in the country.

Wanted: Dead or Alive

We think this innocent looking creature has been digging up bulbs in my flower beds. I was surprised that I was able to get so close to him to take these pictures.

Nicole and I took a trip to the pumpkin patch this weekend. J.C. brought the squash from home.  

This is our biggest pumpkin before it rotted. You can count us out of the pumkin contest :-(  

I enjoy watching the butterflies as well. 

The potatoes produced well this year. And our new potato fork worked great!!

We get to watch this Yellow Finch enjoy his supper while we eat ours.
